CO-OWNER

Born in Greensboro, NC, and raised abroad, Anmar Natheer returned to the U.S. at 17, bringing a world of culinary inspiration with him. After meeting Geno Iozzino in Florida, Anmar visited Greenville, SC, and fell in love with the city, making it his home in 2015.

In 2016, while working at High Cotton, Anmar and Geno launched their food truck, Keepin’ It Fresh, which quickly gained popularity. Splitting his time between the food truck and managing the bar at Halls Chophouse, Anmar helped grow their ventures into a Greenville staple. By 2018, they created The 05, partnering with Chef Jenn Barrone, and the success was immediate. With a passion for expanding Greenville’s food scene, they opened The One5 and The 07 in 2023.

ABYSS, a concept that combines his love for seafood, fishing, and community, is dedicated to creating unique, coastal bites. Anmar’s vision celebrates the community he loves.

Meet Geno! Born in Florida, raised in Easley, SC. After finishing college in 2006 in Florida, he spent 10 years in the service industry before moving back to South Carolina. In 2015, Geno and Anmar launched the Keepin’ It Fresh food truck, kicking off what would become a 14-year journey in hospitality. Three years later, they bought The 05, and in 2023, they expanded with The 07 and The One5! Oh, and did we mention he also runs a real estate and home flipping company?!

DOM ANGELO

Dom Angelo was raised in Pennsylvania and attended Penn State University. His early career saw him behind the scenes, preparing major sporting events and concerts before turning his focus to the culinary world. Dom launched a unique farm-to-table lunch and dinner experience on a 15-acre farm in California’s Suisun Valley, where he created weekly menus based on the freshest farm ingredients. He later brought his passion for scratch-made food to the East Coast, opening an Italian-Mediterranean waterfront restaurant in New Jersey with stunning views of NYC.

Now based in Greenville, SC, Dom met future partners Anmar and Geno after his fiancée, Kara, struck up a conversation with Anmar while walking their dog. As fate would have it, they were neighbors who shared a vision for bringing something new to the local restaurant scene. When he’s not in the kitchen, Dom enjoys spending time with Kara and their two dogs, Rita and Lu, as well as golfing and catching live sports events.

KELLY EASTMEAD

Meet Kelly, the Pastry Chef at ABYSS.

Born in Valdosta, GA but a Greenville local at heart, she has called this city home for most of her life. She graduated from the Culinary Institute of the Carolinas in 2010, but her passion for baking started much earlier—thanks to her grandmother, who always spoiled the grandkids with incredible desserts.

Kelly was fortunate to collaborate with one of her closest friends, Jennifer Barrone, head chef of The 05 and The 07, to help create the dessert menus for both restaurants. For the past year and a half, she has served as the Pastry Chef for The 05, The 07, and The One5.

When she’s not in the kitchen, you’ll find her outside, staying active, spending time with family, or enjoying a little shopping. Her favorite dessert? A simple, sweet classic—a double-stuffed Oreo, perfectly soggy in a cold glass of milk.

CHRISTINA Reynolds

Meet Christina — the GENERAL Manager! She grew up in Greenville, where her passion for food and hospitality began at just seven years old, selling cotton candy and funnel cakes at the Greenville Braves stadium. That early start sparked a lifelong journey in the industry. After earning a culinary degree and spending time in professional kitchens, she returned to school to pursue a business degree, driven to deepen her understanding of front-of-house operations. With over 20 years of experience, Christina is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences, leading dynamic teams, and continuing to grow in an ever-evolving industry.
