CO-OWNER
Born in Greensboro, NC, and raised abroad, Anmar Natheer returned to the U.S. at 17, bringing a world of culinary inspiration with him. After meeting Geno Iozzino in Florida, Anmar visited Greenville, SC, and fell in love with the city, making it his home in 2015.
In 2016, while working at High Cotton, Anmar and Geno launched their food truck, Keepin’ It Fresh, which quickly gained popularity. Splitting his time between the food truck and managing the bar at Halls Chophouse, Anmar helped grow their ventures into a Greenville staple. By 2018, they created The 05, partnering with Chef Jenn Barrone, and the success was immediate. With a passion for expanding Greenville’s food scene, they opened The One5 and The 07 in 2023.
ABYSS, a concept that combines his love for seafood, fishing, and community, is dedicated to creating unique, coastal bites. Anmar’s vision celebrates the community he loves.
